tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez (born February 27th 1976) is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the best tight ends to ever play and currently is the NFL's most efficient tight end when it comes to receiving yards as well as receptions by tight ends. Gonzalez is third in receptions total. Gonzalez's first 12 years were played with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1997, he received a selection in the first round. In his final five seasons, he was with the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez was quit in 2013, has worked as an analyst for NFL on Prime Video. Prior to that, he worked for CBS Sports, Fox Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also was awarded six All-Pros. The player is known for his strength and a rare fumble, Gonzalez appeared in 270 of 272 regular season games and only lost two fumbles across 1,327 passes. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Gonzalez was inducted in the year 2019.
