Amanda Balionis

Alexandra Leigh LaForce born on 11 December, 1988, is an American journalist and model as well as beauty pageant winner. She works as a Turner Sports reporter and reports on the NBA for TNT. Prior to that, she was the reporter in charge at SEC games as well as courtside coverage for college basketball. She hosts We Need to Talk for CBS Sports Network. LaForce was a sports reporter at WJW within Cleveland, Ohio, an FOX affiliate. LaForce was awarded the Emmy Award in the year 2011 for her performance as anchor for FOX 8's Friday Night Touchdown, a college football league for high schools. In 2005, she was Miss Teen USA. She played in collegiate basketball in Ohio University. Ohio University. LaForce began her professional career in pageantry after winning an award called the Miss Ohio Teen USA title in 2005. This was her first time attempting this title. It was a title she won in September 2004, her debut attempt. LaForce took on the role of Ohio representative at Miss Teen USA's 2005 pageant to be held at Baton Rouge, Louisiana on 8 August 2005. LaForce took home her Miss Teen USA 2005 title by winning three of the competitions including evening wear, swimsuit, and a final interview. Shelley Hennig of Louisiana succeeded LaForce. Her mother, Lea LaForce (nee Rummell), was Miss Ohio USA 1977. The School for Film and Television of New York City awarded her an award of a scholarship as well as a model contract for one year. She was also invited to be a guest on NBC's soap opera Passions. LaForce performed in different regions across the United States to promote awareness of alcohol and drug abuse and to continue her higher education at the high school in Ohio.
