
Anna Maria Chlumsky born December 3, 1980 (2nd December) is an American actress. She started acting as a young girl, and first became known for her character Vada Sultenfuss, the character in the film My Girl (1991) and its sequel, My Girl 2. After her first roles she went on hiatus between 1999 and 2005 to attend college. She was back in the acting world, appearing in several independent films including Blood Car (2007), In the Loop (2009). The role she played as Amy Brookheimer in the HBO series Veep (2012-1999) has earned her six nominations for the show, including the Primetime Emmy Award For Outstanding Supporting Actress in the field of Comedy Series.
